Direct Payment Advisor – Fixed Term Contract
We are recruiting for a Direct Payment Advisor to help people and their families understand, set up and confidently manage their Direct Payments.
This role combines practical advice, problem‑solving and relationship building, supporting people to take control of their care and make informed choices about their support. You will provide clear guidance on Direct Payments, support people with responsibilities such as employing Personal Assistants, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with advisors across partner charities to provide holistic support.
35 hours per week based in Bexley
Fixed‑term contract until March 2028 (extension subject to funding)
Salary: £29,642
These roles are delivered in partnership with Age UK Bexley, Bexley Mencap and Carers Support Bexley, with one post hosted by each organisation. Applicants may apply for one role or to all three organisations.
