One of our Support Workers, tells us what it’s like to be a support worker:
"I work with a number of different people and I'm really enjoying it. I take clients to the cinema, the hairdressers or to the beauty salon, and even trips to Crayford Dogs. I have taken someone with dementia to Vintage Lindy Lou's in Crayford, and on trips to local parks. I regularly take a lady with dementia to get her nails done, which she loves. I also take some clients out in my car. I help with preparing and cooking meals as well as taking people out for coffee. What I love about being a Support Worker is no two days are the same. I feel like I help a lot but I also get a lot back."
